And so, here end the photo of the day project. Today I had a day off work to celebrate my birthday. By 12 o’clock I had my new mac and spent a few hours setting up my system. Once done I sent around some emails to get projects back on track and met Matt later for food and drinks at start the bus.

It’s been an interesting experience doing a photo every day for a glad but will be glad not to have to worry about it anymore.

It’s been an interesting journey. When I first started this project, I had just started at Teamrubber and had no reason to network. Over time I made goals for myself and focused on where I wanted to be. By changing some simple routines and getting to know my peers I started to see a dramatic change in life at home and at work. I also had many problems this year to hold me back, with technical problems and being stuck in hospital for over a month, plus the more recent mugging. But now I’m back on track and the future looks bright. I have new avenues to pursue and many collaborative projects to get through. I think by Christmas Robot Aliens and Versus will be fully launched and I will start the next projects.

This project is mostly for myself but if you have been reading, I hope you’ve found my journey interesting and maybe inspired you to do more with the time you have.

Today is the penultimate day of photo of the day and as such tonight at 12 o’clock I will be 29. I have a few cards already and am off work the rest of the week. My mac hasn’t come yet back I’m all set to get back into creative mode.

Today was a pretty normal work day but at home it was my turn to cook and I had received the first of my birthday cards.

The other day I received this bag from amazon as a gift wrapped present from mum. I took a picture this morning to show people. I already know what it is and I think amazon have gone a bit over the top.

Today was back to work and I took the first cake in, which was the coffee mug. Unfortunately Rory isn’t in this week. Tomorrow I will take in the dog cake for Nessa.

Today’s photo is of my empty work space which will soon be filled as I ordered my new Mac tonight.

With only 3 more photos left in my photo of the day project, I gave started to reflect on my year of being 28.

Today I made 2 cakes for work people birthdays this week.

I made a mug of coffee and a dog.

As usual had build issues but turned out ok in the end.

Today was a depressing day where I had nothing to do and no where to go. By mid day I managed to finally complete final fantasy 13 and watched iplayer shows on the iPhone but that’s about it.

Today was an odd Friday. I got a call to go to the police station to identify the 2 who mugged me last week. Was a weird experience and took a long time to sort out.

I met up with Jess for lunch at Start the bus beforehand and when I got home I decided to get myself my own Mac and a massive tv at some point next week.

Today was a busy day working and finally getting my mind back on projects.

Not a lot else happened today and spent the evening in front of the tv as usual. I’m becoming lazy without my computer.

Today was one of those standard work says. Can’t think of anything interesting to talk about except today at work I upgraded to CS5. So far I’ve only seen a couple improvements but nothing major yet.

Today at work I went over to the pervasive media lab with Heather and Tom to discuss a new project. Sounds interesting what we might end up doing.

I got home in the pouring rain and watched Kickass with Rich. Not his type of film but I enjoyed it. The comic that comes with it is rather good too.

Today I found out that my work backups had saved all my work. So good news.

Did a backup and ordered my new mac but it may be a while.

With no mac and no entertainment I’m sitting here watching tv. Got nothing else to do.

Today was a nothing day where I just did cleaning. I put Razor in the big bath so he could have good old swim. Haven’t seen him inflate in ages.

Today with a lack of mac, I worked on the stop motion plan for the robot alien website. I’ve just finished all the animation frames. It was difficult and new but I reckon it should look cool. Now I just need my computer back to put it all together and bring to life.

Today was an odd one. Big news of the day is that I got mugged on the way home and lost my laptop!! Lucky I did the right thing and managed to get away with the rest of my stuff. So spent most of the night at the police station giving a statement.

Other news today is that I went to howies for the opening exhibition for the Bristol Cycle Festival of which I made the logo. I met Jess and went to wagamamas. Then went to howies and met Cami and Iain. Also mentioned Versus to a guy who works there about an exhibition. After that went home and got into trouble.

This means my work plans for this weekend have been damaged but I’m going to work on my stop motion project for robot aliens instead. This isn’t going to hold me back.
